Q. Where and when does the tutor and student meet?

A. Normally the tutor and student meet either after school or on a Saturday morning at a public place such as a library or a school.

Q. Can I pay by the session or do I have to sign up for a number of sessions?

A. You can pay per session or sign up for a certain number of sessions. Both ways are your choice.

Q. What is the cost per session for tutoring and when is it paid?

A. The cost per lesson is $30.00. If you sign up for 5 or more tutoring sessions the cost is $25.00 per session. All payment is due at the beginning of each session.

Q. How long is a tutoring session?

A. Tutoring sessions are scheduled for one hour unless contracted otherwise.

Q. What if a student misses a session with the tutor?

A. The first time a session is missed half the fee will be accessed unless less is otherwise agreed upon by the tutor. Full session cost will be accessed if more than 1 session has been missed.

Q. What does a student need to bring to a session?

A. Students need to bring the appropriate tools for doing the lesson such as paper, pencils, rulers, textbooks, journals, notebooks, charts, calculators, and of course any assignments that need to be done.
